Bloom Skills Centre Team

At Bloom Skills Centre, we believe that growth happens when people come together with shared purpose and heart. Our organization is powered by a dedicated team of board members, volunteers, and community partners who each bring unique skills and passion to our mission.

Together, we create opportunities for young adults with intellectual and developmental exceptionalities to learn, connect, and thrive.

Board of Directors

Our volunteer Board of Directors provides the vision, governance, and leadership that guide Bloom’s growth. They help ensure that our programs remain inclusive, community-driven, and sustainable. Each member contributes their time, expertise, and care to strengthen Bloom’s foundation and future.

For more information about becoming a Bloom Skills Centre Board member, please email us directly at info@bloomskillscentre.com

The "Hive" Volunteers

Our key volunteers are the heart of our hands-on work—supporting programs, special events, and community partnerships. From assisting in classrooms and gardens to helping with fundraising and outreach, they make Bloom’s vision possible every day.

We are deeply grateful for their ongoing commitment and the kindness they bring to every interaction.

Volunteer to become one of the HIVE

We are always looking for volunteers to support our organization. There are also plenty of ways that you can help. The HIVE- Hands-on, Inclusive Volunteer Engagement is Bloom Skills Centre’s volunteer fundraising team. We bring the community together to plan and run welcoming events—movie & dinner nights, afternoon teas, garden dinner parties—and channel that goodwill into real support for Bloom’s programs. We believe in showing up, keeping it kind and reliable, and making it fun. Every poster hung, grill tended, ticket sold, and table cleared helps our adult learners build skills and confidence.

Core commitments:
Reliability: If we take a shift, we’re there.
Safety & trust: Volunteers must be able to pass a CPIC with the Vulnerable Sector; we’ll help with the steps.

Accessibility: We make it easier for everyone to contribute—clear roles, friendly training, and support for access needs.
If you are interested in lending a hand, please contact us at info@bloomskillscentre.com
